PLAY DAY!

While Taresa is busy in the hospital getting better Reed and Court get to go play at different friends houses while dad is at work. Here is yesterdays play day.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!

So Court was Mickey Mouse and Reed was Woody from Toy Story. Reed's first experience tick or treating was at our churches trunk or treat Friday night and it was a riot. He was super excited cause there were lots of people running around. But with everyone dressed up he wasn't so sure if he liked these people anymore. A few times he would stop and stare at the adults dressed all ghoulish. But came time to actually do the trick or treating. The first man went to put some candy in Reed's bucket and Reed flipped out. He did not want anyone messing with his trick or treat bucket. After a few times of flipping out and still getting candy he kind of picked up on the fact that people weren't trying to mess with his bucket. So he started taking the candy from their hands and putting it into his own bucket himself. Then after a few stops later he realized they will put the candy in his bucket for him. Then after a few people more, while they were putting candy in his bucket Reed helped himself to some more candy to put in his bucket.

Reed ended the night playing with Frankenstein aka Braden Dale, in the bed of the Dale's pick up truck

Court was just happy to see people and have people come up to him and oogle over how cute he is. And really can you blame the public for cooing over this little man. He is so adorable.

Taresa and Aunt Kele spent the night chasing Reed and helping him play the games. While Mike was working at Costco. Mom didn't dress up she figured she was already a beautiful queen and anything she wore exudes that. And yes Taresa, you are beautiful.

But Halloween wasn't going to pass by Mike despite his 2 jobs. At Mike's work, University of Phoenix. Mike went dressed up like the Wendy's commercial character. There was a Halloween costume contest I didn't even make the preliminaries. BUT Mike had lots of fun and tons of people said he was their favorite costume. Mike really is Big and Juice!!!! Even Costco liked his costume.

It's been forever I know.....

So here is an updated picture of THE BOYS!!! They are hanging out at our favorite place, Wal-Mart, only cause we go there atleast twice a day it seems like.

But we as the family are doing surviving. Taresa is having more and more doctor visits and as of last week she is leagally blind. Which means she can't drive, she sees everything in blurred images. She is looking for moral support so anyone wanting to call her during the day or pick her up and the boys and take them outside and away from the four walls of Emelita, she'd appriciate it. But you're going to have to make the iniative cause she isn't going to call, ps by the way. The doctors right now are trying to find out if her vison issues are connected to her Crohn's or not. Also on the Taresa side of life, her GI doctor has passed us off to the MAYO clinic. Many prayers are needed as modern medicine has failed and we are going to try more aggressive approaches, however there is a battle raging between us, the insurance company on trying to get the Mayo clinic approved so prayers are needed there as well.

The boys are doing good, Reed is being a total boy. He loves the movie Sandlot and will run the bases with the boys on the movie and loves to through anything when the boys through the baseball. Reed is also into stripping and streaking. Reed will be 2 years old next in October. Court, is now crawling on all fours, he stopped his wounded soldier army crawl a little while ago. Court is a chubby chubby big boy and eats everything you give him, except grapes. Meat, veggies, bread, pasta, sweets, etc. are his favorites. Even if it's old or finishing up Reed's plate he'll still eat it. Court has 0 teeth and still eats as much as Reed. If you don't feed him fast enough he'll let you know by panting like a dog. Basically, if a bear ever crossed Courts path the bear would lose and Court would eat him before the bear got a swipe. Court will be 1 in December.

Work is good for me. I have 2 jobs right now to help out with all the extra expences. I still work at University of Phoenix and then I have a night job putting up housing development directional signs on the weekends. I got to get out and do some guy stuff this past weekend. I went shooting with some buddies of mine and also I'm training to run a half marathon. I can already run about 4 miles straight.

Boy's Picture Day!!!!

We took Reed and Court down to Target to get there pictures done. Reed only was able to smile while we sang "Rolling down the sandhill" from the TV show THE WIGGLES. He thought the song was so funny. Court however, loves any attention so all we had to do was just say his name and he'd light up. We never really thought pictures would be hard to do with two kids. GUESSED WRONG!!!!!! Reed wouldn't sit still longer than 5 seconds, wanted to explore the studio more than sit and smile. But we did get Reed to show us how old he is. Let us know what you think.

So we took these pics the other night while playing around for family night. Finally, some pics of mom and dad, Court still needed some attention so he stuck his hand in there at the last minute. Happy and in LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!! That's what's getting us through these hard times. More on that later! Court wanted to go swimming and Reed loves to play on the slide at the near by park. He's daring to go down the big slide by himself. It's totally awesome!!!!!!!!!!

Today is the first time I am attempting to bring our family blog site to you, our adoring fans!!!!!

I am Mike and just had my 27th birthday in May. Taresa 27, is of course resently diagnosed with Crohn's disease. We are learning all we can about this and praying for healing and for Taresa's health be brought back into balance. Reed will be turning 20 months in JUNE and is cuter than ever. But Court 7 months is giving Reed a run for his money, with his adorible cubby cheeks and his constant smiling.

As far as any further updates. I am still working for Univiersity of Phoenix Online. Taresa is busy being a stay at home mom but also becoming quite the Betty Crocker with her scrapbooking. Reed's favorite food in the whole world is ketchup, so we can and do feed him everything covered in ketchup. His second favorite food is corn dogs. Reed is also becoming indepentdant by undressing himself whenever he pleases. Soon we will have to bust out the duct tape wardrobe. Court loves everyone as long as you hold him and talk to him, especially his big brother. We are now feeding him mush everything; peas, mashed potatoes, whatever we are eating for dinner that night, fruit, apple sauce. The posibilities are endless when you have a magic bullet.
